International Class: Reports from the Field

What now?

This is the next to last day of the last residency with the International Class (2007-8) of the East Side Institute. Tomorrow is our graduation ceremony and after that most of us will have contact only through the internet.

I will miss the physical warmth and presence of my colleagues, thinking of the many heart-felt hugs and smiles that we have shared with each other. In what ways can we continue and develop the connections and relationships that have begun here? How can I bring that quality of closeness and intimacy into my life and my communications with others?

That is my puzzle.

  1. Dear Ignacio,

I am happy and excited to read that the IC (international class) has meant so much to you and your learning. Can you describe one such impact with some specific detail? That would help me to understand your experience better.

I have valued your support and listening this year and am glad to know you and your devotion to your work with children.

    hugs,

    Jane
